I've been taking my motor I got apart and inspecting it, and overall it looks great. It came from a very reputable motor importer. The block is very clean inside, but upon really looking around I found a crack/stress point coming out of oil squirter #1. I'm not sure if I'm worrying about nothing, but this seems to be a red flag and I'm not sure if there is anything that could be done about this.


The others look fine, just #1 is really upsetting me.

i see what looks like a casting flaw... no crack...

Thanks guys. I was hoping to hear multiple confirms of a casting flaw. It's just an uneasy feeling when seeing the flaw move right toward the sleeve area. Now I'm off to putting a new oil pump on.
