Default Spark Plug position

Would their be a ideal position the spark plug should be facing in the cumbustion chamber???

i think the best is the gap < to face the intake valves

On a 4 valve per cylinder engine where the spark plug is placed in the center of the combustion chamber. Like as in our Honda engines. Indexing the spark plug may not really do much on a mild/street build. Considering the spark plug is already placed in the center of the intake (air fuel) charge.

However, there are those that say having the opening indexed toward the center of the combustion chamber (intake valves) is the optimum orientation for a race setup.

You can buy copper indexing ring kits from most parts stores.
