rod/piston combo?
what needs to be done to eagle rods/CTR pistons setup to make them fit and work properly, i heard rumors that the combo isnt too friendly.

Re: rod/piston combo? (89civicracer)
Problem is that the Eagle rods use a floating pin design that requires the piston to have some sort of wrist pin locks.
CTR pistons use a non-floating wrist pin design ( the pin is a pressed fit into the stock rod ) and does not have the required wrist pin locks that the Eagle rod needs.
You can make it work, but you will have to send the rods to get bushed smaller so that it is a pressed fit between the rod and the wrist pin.
