Default PR3 1.6 Litre ECU on B18C 2.0 Litre Engine

So I ahve a GSR block bored to 2.0 litres with a ITR head.. kept the mtoor OBD0 sicne the car is OBD0 and didn't feel liek switching over. I need to break in the engine before dyno tuning with hondata(cause I was goni to drive to the dyno shop(5 hours away) question is. I'll be using a stock PR3 OBD0 b16 ecu (Hondata on a different ECU) how bad would it be to use it on th 2.0 B18C setup? would the settigns be suepr lean? and be dangerous for ring seating/breakin period??? Also. how high do I ahve to rev it in each gear and dcel to get the lado tos eat the rings. Can I stay under 5000RPM? or do I ahve to take it to redline.. thanks again..

Do you ahve to take it to redline and back a few times per gear for max load to seat the rings?

But then I would have to convert OBDs. I want to stick with PR3. Anyways it should be alright. Ppl with LS/VTEC or CRVtec say to just up the fuel pressure. I'll just monitor it all with my EGT gauge and wideband A/F

NO.. that will run your motor too lean.. you will risk damaging your engine.. get a fpr and increase the fuel pressure up to about 50-60 psi and dont dont run too much timing. id get the ecu chipped with more fuel. get a vafc or hondata. that should help you out. later

the guy is getting hondata.. hes asking if he can drive there ont he ecu, read better...

i think you should be fine to drive there, what injectors are you using? not stock right? at least 290's or 310's? i ran my 1.8 with a p28 until i could get to the the dyno for hondata with 290s and it ran fine.... i even jumped on it a few times so you should ok to take it to redline a couple times w/ a b16 ecu...
plus my friend runs his ls-vtec all the time with a obo pr3 ecu
this is if you are using bigger injectors, i would assume you are with a 2.0
my question is how are you staying OBD0 with hondata... they only chipp obd1 ecu's (unless they recently changed and i didnt know_

Well I was gonig to break in the motor with stock injectors and just up the fuel pressure up just for break in on stock B16 ecu. I DO have some DSM 310's tho that I could dump in.. but even with stock fuel pressure, I would think it would just dangerously over richen the mixture withs tock maps and wreck the block, especialyl sicen I'm JUST breaking it in for the new rings. Unless I down the pressure even more what do you think? my other injectors are 660CC injectors... this is actualyla turbo moto but I am breaking it in low comp N/A before slappnig the turbo and hondata on.

Read what I said about dyno in the first post. I alreayd know it's best to break it in by tuning it. The cost of trailering the car there would be outrageous

Approximately 8.85:1 it woulda been 9:1 but I miscaculated and swapping he PR3 head on a C1 block actually loses a tiny bit of compression. I ahve a turbo cometic head gasket I might use but I dunno.. it's .043" thick which drops me to 8.61:1!!! I'll prolly jsut get OEM thickness and stick with 8.85:1 at 84MM bore
