Like a new and improved PGM-FI from the late 80's. Fuel injected carb FTW!

Re: New ITB setups from Kinsler: K, B, D, F and H (SuperTwinz)
greetings sir bisi
I do have a question, any comparison on effect of air obstruction vs. without being infront of the VS ? any sense of how does this compare to the Toda injection kit which is similar in the pre "plate" fuelling aspect but shooting fuel from the bottom and using gravity as a means for better atomization ?
Also, why the need for injectors post thr plates ? for idling when thr is closed ?
how is the overall torque band compare in a Gen 2 CRX 88-91 chassis with b-series ? is there enough room for air induction to the ITBs with this setup ?
thanks
Greg

I was wondering the same thing.
How about a fully tuned dyno comparison of, say, a PerformerX vs those ITB's?

Holly f@*#ing sh!% that looks scary! I've heard the positioning of injectors factored into performance, but I never imagined this. I'd be interested in seing how this does compared to a custom plenum type....assuming the injectors make such a drastic difference.

This set up is amazing. I can't wait to see a compairison. It looks like a scaled down verson of the injection system that is used on Formula 1 engine where the position the inj. directly over top of the intake.

The question is will the k version work with k-swap. Meaning will it fit under the hood without modification to the hood.

i like how the linkage of the butterflies are interconnected to the rail.. below 50% throttle and the injectors are closer to the stack for good bottom and mid.. and the more the throttle opens the farther the injectors and rails are, hmmm awesome!

Wow. Check's in the mail, 'Bisi.
We're grateful for the attention. Kits, pricing, and options have been established this morning, call or e-mail me anytime, (248) 362-1145 or scott@kinsler.com
K-series will be available to the public by mid-December, because each and every manifold is made to order, allow a 4-5 week lead time from receipt of deposit to delivery.
Mitsu Evo (4G63) will be available very soon after the K. Our intention is to offer this manifold with a plenum so you won't have to worry about having a custom one made.
The next manifold series will be based on deposits. I'd personally like to coordinate with a few serious D series guys and make a D manifold next, but we'll have to see what happens. I know there are a few anxious B series guys out there too.
To clear a few things up;
The manifold is cast aluminum standard - cast magnesium is available (33% lighter).
The upper rail is fixed, you can adjust it up & down with spacers under the saddles, but it is not referenced to throttle position.
We do not recommend the upper rail set up for street or road race use - it's inteded for drag race applications only.
K-series will require the removal of the stock water pump and idler pulley.
Orders can be placed directly with me, or through Bisimoto.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
Thanks
Scott
