My main bearing clearances. Please bear with me.
I've been posting up about 2 topics about bearings i think, but i just need some help around here so i can learn
I plastiguaged my main bearings and here are my clearances:
main1- .0015
main2- seems little looser than .001
main3-.0015
main4-.001 if not tighter(black bearings)
main5-.0015
I'm trying to keep them tight/middle clearane side. This is my first time plastiguaging, so i will try everything again later.
So what do you guys think

From the outside-in, the clearances should get progressively looser.
You definitely need to go with a thinner bearing on #'s 2 and 4.

Thanks for helping, i was thinking on changing 2 and 4 bearings. Maybe 1 stop lower is better?
From outside-in???
I'm sorry but i don't know what you mean.

Def, looser on 2 and 4, also might help to be a little looser on 3. Third main is always loosest because of no oil orface

EDIT: Make sure bolts AND washers are oiled/lubed for accurate torque
