I am running an SMSP 4-2-1 2.5" header into a 12" vibrant resonator where the cat is suppose to be then into a full 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust into a vibrant muffler.

Is a bit loud yes, on long trips. Around town no trouble, when in VTEC and the IAB's open up it gets a bit louder. Doesn't send people running.

I still might add a resonator, 18".

I think the EVO 8 is a 2.5" inlet. The STI is 2.5" inlet as well. So you might want to check those mufflers to see if it works. Neither of them are straight through and they are all chambered. I think the mufflers would fit under a DC2 with some work. Logically I would think, what are your power goals, and what cars from the factory make that amount of power. Most BMW mufflers wouldn't work b/c they tend to be duel inlet and are fairly large

i know civic SI mufflers are pretty small and might be 2.5 but i havent seen one in person to measure it.
but i dont know of any flow tests for stock honda mufflers.
sucks that i dont have any resources to do that.

My dynomax super turbo is 2.5" and probably cheaper than a used STI or Evo muffler.

The OEM Si Mufflers are NOT 2.5", far from it. More like 2.2"

Yes, two 26" magnaflow resonators. They came before the Dynomax did, and the 2nd one honestly didn't do anything which is why I got the Dynomax. The Dbx I had on there before I was told should be "super quiet" on an import and it was loud as hell. I've been contemplating taking one of the magnaflows off for clearance issues.

ok cool.think i might sell my yonaka and pick something like that up.definalty need something 2.5" or better.

The super turbo is available in 2.5" and 3"
