ls vtec swap.. PLEASE HELP
ok so i did the entire ls vtec swap.. b18/b16
it will turn over but not start. when u turn it over it cranks and then when u go to stop cranking it, it sounds like its gonna start , pops and dies out...
i tried turning the distributor 180 degrees and it just popped and popped and never started.
i have no check engine light on either..
tuned ecu with a base tune for my mods..
its getting fuel...
its getting spark..
i dont understand why it wont start
could my aic be shot?
could my timing be off? i lined everything up before assembling it.
the cam gears were set so the mark with the degree points were in the middle lined up.
i have the distributor set to the middle of the setting..
i have stock injectors with a stock pump, but i have a fuel rail and fpr pushing just over 45psi...is this possibly too much?
i also have two plugs that are identical that plug in behind the motor.. they both fit the aic...on the back of the intake.. could anyone please tell me which one goes to the aic and where the other one goes possibly? this is the only plug not plugged in.. and i keep switching them to see if one wil work and one wont with no success..
PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE.. i really am stumped...
thanks in advance..
