Default Kelford cams?

anybody ever try the kelford cams for a b series? I'm planning on building a cr/vtec this next semester for my advanced engines class in school. i dont really wanna run something everyone else has, i want it to be different, i bought some kelford 272's for my evo (havent installed them but i've heard nothing but good reviews about them) so i'm kinda leaning on just giving it a try if i can fit it into my budget, school gets pretty spendy

They are based out of New Zealand... Give them a shot if you want to pay the shipping

Kevin that owns Kelford cams runs a Honda H22A powered N/A EG dragcar he has done quite a few sets of cams for Toyota and Nissan engines for an engine builder local to me and they have had very good results with them.

Kelford cams are ground on toyoda Centerless cam grinder and they use good quality chill cast cores. Quality wise i'm sure they are excellent.

they've been proven on the evo's time and time again, i'm pretty sure they're good cams for honda's too, MAPerformance out of plymouth, mn carries kelfords, i'm pretty sure they have them too so shipping wouldnt really be involved, they're a little more expensive but i think im gonna try them that or comp cams. its still up in the air, i may not even be able to get cams yet, since i'm putting the evo first, gotta get that to 350+awhp but i'm just really interested in trying these so if anyone at all has anymore info about them at all that would help persuade my decision

i think for companies like kelford cams, you will get value for money if you go for their custom cam profiles. They can design a new valve lift profile that is application specific for you. If you want time proven cams, just stick with the popular cams like skunk2, jun or toda. They are abundant and fairly affordable.

Then again, i have my reservations as to how many cam companies really understand the true valve lift profile for the cams they manufacture.

I heard a rumor that the Skunk Pro series cams are based off a Kelford design....

Anyone know for sure?
