Default Highest Compression

What is the highest compression I could run in my d16z6 with little or no tuning and with the least amount of problems. 11.0:1? 11.5:1? Also what pistons would you recommend, p29 pistons? aftermarket high-comp pistons?

Thats kind of an ambiguous question.

My point is there are so many variables that are involved like:
Where is the car gonna be driven?
How is the car gonna be driven?
What kind of set up are you looking at?
and most importantly
What kind of fuel do you plan on using?

I'm sure if you did a search of both the current threads and archived you'd find an answer though.

Daily Driven
I'd like to see vtec atleast 3 times a week and go to the track once in a while.
Pretty much just basic stuff like i/h/e, stage 1 or 2 cam, etc.
92 octane.

on little or no tuning, i would stick to the lower 11.0:1 compression setting. This way you will have room for error.
Why dont you want to tune? If it is becuase your broke, get uberdata and paid a friend pizza and beer to help you tune it. Or, if it is becuase you dont know how, buy hondata s100, and have a shop tune your car.
