Default F20b block, F22 Head, need help with H22 head swap

I bought a 94 Accord about a year ago which happens to be my first Honda, I've fallen in love with it over the past 12 months and put suspension on it, misc gaskets/o-rings and have even replaced most of the interior so it's nice again although it's going to be changing again soon.. anyways. It came with a low mileage f20b block mated with a f22 head and F22 transmission. I live in California so he have a lot of smog laws so I wanted to keep it simple but no car enthusiast can do that.. oops. I'm going to do a H22 head because it's easier to get parts for in the US. I was just curious on what it would take to do so. I understand I'll need to do misc wiring, chipped ecu, timing, head gasket and all necessary hardware but my questions are which gasket would I run for my head gasket? F20/F22/H22? What type of wiring will I have to do to convert to OBD 1? Will I need to swap pistons to h/c for vtec?

UPDATE: Due to the kind help of people on this forum I've decided to do a full F20B swap as I've sourced numerous near my house at a local JDM importer. Any help for conversion to OBD 1, which ECU would be the best to use if not stock, what wiring will I have to do to wire vtec in a car that wasn't previously vtec, what type of compression should I be looking at on a F20B etc any other tips for swapping a full obd 2 f20b into a obd 1 cd5 accord it would be greatly appreciated!

You can't put an H22 head on an F block. The oil and water passages do not line up. They are incompatible.

I'm unfamiliar with California laws, but you'd be better off swapping in a complete H22 or H2B, which I'm pretty sure in your state would still be legal as long as you used an engine/ECU from the same year or newer than the car and could still pass smog.

You can put an H22 head on a F series SOHC block but generally it's just a more efficient use of time and resources to go full H series or F20B DOHC. The "G22" bastard child/hybrid engine thing usually performs much worse than a typical H series and is prone to issues like oil leaks depending on how you seal the misaligned oil passages.

As Chance said, just go full H. H2B isn't really an option in the CD Accord chassis unfortunately.

Thanks! I appreciate all of the help. I've opted to do a full f20b swap as I've found a local JDM import shop that happens to have 4 of them on the shelves with good compression and full engine harness included for 600 bucks and still has all the parts including , thermostat, a/c compressor, alternator, etc. I figured I'll just pull the full motor and get it reffed at a California bar service shop as an H22. Now to convert to OBD 1 and get a bunch of H22 parts to pass smog for reg.
