year, make and model & ecu would help.
how long have you had the test pipe on before the engine light came on?
is the secondary 02 even plugged in? is there a bung in the test pipe for the o2?

1996 and newer (OBD2) cars/ecus use 2 O2 sensors in line. One before the cat, and one directly at the end. This is for emissions, etc, etc. If you have that code, one or the other is not plugged in, bad, or not reading.
