Sure why not?

Just get it tuned, and do what the tuner suggests, in relation to the dyno results and or engine management stuff and things they do etc.......LOL but srsly....

Do you have any sort of electronically tunable fuel management system chipped ECU or standalone EMS such as AEM? Also do you have an injector resistor box?

If you just drop in a set of 450cc, low impedance, DSM injectors into a stock high impedance system it won't work for very long. If at all, I've never tried it personally.

Theoretically,

1. You'll be running way to rich without electronic fuel injection tuning.
2. The high impedance system, 11-13ohms, of a non resistor setup will eventually burn out the low impedance injectors.

The injectors will not burn out, it's the injector drivers or transistors in the ECU that will suffer because of the decreased resistance meaning increased amp flow. A resistor box must be used with these injectors.

Sorry, my bad. I miss quoted an article that I read 2 years ago.

However, I was easily able to find the exact article that I read.

Conclusions

• Running low impedance injectors without a resistor box will substantially increase the temperature of the transistor driver IC due to the increase in current flow.
• The temperature increase will depend on your driving.
• If that temperature remains high enough for long enough the driver transistor will be damaged.
If you want to read the complete tech article here it is.
