what is the difference if any in the jdmb16 camshafts and the usdm b16 camshaft i know jdmb16 has higher compression more hp and torque but are cam profiles different if so which 1

 

the reason for the different horsepower is because of the pistons.

IM pretty sure the camshaft profiles are the same.

 

the sir2 jdm b16 (170hp)
has better pistons .2 higher cr
better intake manifold
and yes better cams

 

my reasoning for asking is i am trying 2 build lsvtec with jdm b16 head 99ls block i was wondering if i should get itr cams or ctr cams what difference it would make

really, whats the difference in the cam specs?

 

Didn't they post all the cam specs and pics a while back on ff-squad's site? I thought the only difference were in the automatic / manual B16s?
