There is a difference between the First gen and Second gen im, but what accounts for the 8-10 hp difference in the USDM b16 and the 2g JDM B16 then?

There is a difference in the im and the cams are most likely also different. Those damn jdm's always getting the better side of things.

the USDM B16A2/3 and the JDM B16A SiRII OBD1 intake manifolds are identical. the JDM b16A SiRII has 10.4:1 compression, slightly better cams, and im assuming different ECU tuning since the JDM P30 ECU is different than the USDM P30. the only intake manifold thats different is the JDM B16A SiRI/XSi/RSi, which looks similar to the USDM 90-91 integra with the dashpot and air boost valve.
