Man that awesome to see those kind of numbers...pretty damn impressive. Do you think you gained much power back after removing the catback?

12.84 @ 104.6mph w/ a 1.77 60'

Cant wait to get some more seat time and get tuned on e85. I think there is a 12.5 in it easily.
Congrats on the 12s!

Kinda off topic but what's your track schedule like out there as far as test and tunes go? I'm hoping I can see some racing when I head out there for a visit.

When will you be here? Where will you be visiting? Look up pacific raceways and bremerton raceways schedules. We are basically closed down at pacific once september rolls around unfortunately. There is a TNT Oct. 3rd and Oct. 18th and a "halloween series" on Halloween. Basically a TNT w/ some bracket race options.

Bremerton will go until the weather gets bad, but its really hit and miss and doesn't always get announced.

I'm heading out there this Friday, be there for almost a week. Sucks that pacific shuts down so early. Seems like it's probably perfect weather out there right now.

Right on man. I'm not sure if they have any brackets finishing up this weekend or not, haven't checked. Pacific is a frustrating track. They don't have many TNT days at all. Bremerton is almost every fri,sat,sun....but its a 90 min drive one way from my place.

Are you staying in Seattle? Next weekend is supposed to be PERFECT here. upper 70's lower 80's and cool nights.

Wow, that's interesting to know. I'm planning on moving out next year and was just assuming that Pacific has regular test and tune events.
I'll be staying in federal way when I'm out there this week.

Bremerton has TONS of test n tune days compared to pacific. They are just a ways out of the way, and you have to cross a toll bridge so it makes for an expensive trip when all is said and done

I live about 10 mins north of FW right now.

Thread has been dead for awhile, but I've been doing some work behind the scenes the past 6-8 weeks. In the next month or so I should have some new dyno numbers and "testing" info
It's going to be a fun time...trust me

RDX's out, ID 1000's in

That's why

New SSR Big tube. I didn't realize how big this header was until I put it beside my RMF. It's HUGE comparitively

Sorry they are sideways, too lazy to edit LOL

I'll have 1 more big update, I'll share it when I get the parts

Other updates:
Got a set of VX wheels for rear skinnies
Removed rear bumper support to add rear bumper diffuser (not done yet)

This car has gone from being a daily street car to basically a track only car. Weight reduction, aero and performance upgrades are the focus now, not streetability. The car weights a little over 1900 w/o me in it. I'm 225. Aiming for 2100 w/ me in it. I have not CUT anything, just removed parts and unnecessary things. I don't plan on hacking this thing up, I want to keep it so if I sell it someone can put interior in it if wanted and it's not a complete hack job.

Best track time to date is 12.84 @ 105 w/ 1.78 60' and a tune that was so-so and could use some touch up (running rich). With upgrades and a better tune I expect to go sub 12.5 next season.

They may have tried, but there are only a handful of these made from what I've been told. I know what header you're talking about and if it was based off this header for some reason, its a far cry. I see the similar design "idea", but that's where it stops.

Low 12s here you come!
Was your tuner able to reach MBT without knock on your current compression and fuel? 93 octane I presume?

As far as I know, yes he was able to reach MBT, I never asked him though. It's was tuned on 92 octane (Standard 10% ethanol blend) that is all we get in WA.

I don't know my EXACT compression, just know it's in the 12.5:1 area. When I did a comp test after we did the initial startup and checked the rings it was 265-280 across all 4 cylinders.

Cool. Curious to see how much you gain from the e85 switch. Good luck!

Since you drove this some on the street, how was drivability with "12.5" compression?

Thank you. More power just around the corner

My AFR's were kind of screwed up on this tune and weren't really "on point".

AFR for cruising was 14.2-14.7 and WOT AFR was in the 11's (which is RICH)

Heat range 7 NGK plugs

I use just a standard short ram intake if I have to drive it on the road. The extended intake is only used @ the track. I built the intake myself by piecing the 3 pieces together. I want to get them welded in the near future.
