same here. i bought crome pro a while back, but wasn't using datalogging, and just manually reading and recording the a/f ratios off my wideband, and then making the adjustments in the map using RTP. That in itself worked great.

However, recently, i started using datalogging, and got the a/f ratios on the wideband to match those in crome, and since it records, i don't need to have someone drive. Either way, both are a good experience.

I.

if your shop tunes crome wouldn't you just need a chipped ecu for crome and your tuner will do the rest when you take your n/a car in to tune?

Got CROME PRO and love it. Lots of great features too. Why spend all the money on other high priced systems.

rant:

people who have problems with crome always have hardware problems...incompatabilities with hardware....this has nothing to do with the software itself as the drivers are what controll the hardware...if you have problems with datalogging or real time programming etc its a hardware issue...just a FYI for all you who bash crome without knowledge of how things actually work...like programming

If you don't know what your doing with your computer, then tuning your car is probably not something you should be doing.

Well see? lol you have someone to do it for you. I'm an IT person and it took me a while to get everything setup correctly. Works like a charm now though.

lol no I learned to tune because there was no one that would do it in my area. Had to learn the hard way.

I actually kinda "fell" into IT work. I used to be a car audio installer. =P
