Cams for B16a (M22's / BC3+) (help)
Hi All, I live in Brazil and I Have a civic 93 vti (b16a2). It's almost stock, just has, I/H/E and tuned with Unichip.
I'd like to to some more. I'm going to use alcool instead of Gasoline (Can make more power), Has the Head milled for about 11,5cr; headwork, and put some cams.
I'm thinking in BC3+ and M22's. I think m22's will give more power, but i'm worried about cams wear, it's the m22's cam/head package a good choice fo $900,00? Or a Bc3+, Omniman Springs + retainers will be better for cam wear? Both for about the same price. I'm asking it, because all i need to buy, have to be imported, so the costs goes to sky . That's why It need to be, durable.
If i'm talking BS, please correct me, or if there is a better choice, please...
Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.

The compression isn't too high to be using on pump gas. Stick with that. Also, do you have the stock pistons? For just milling you won't see the compression that high. So having the right information for the correct compression will help you decide which cams to get.

Re: Cams for B16a (rikawa)
I like both cams.. that being said here would be my choice in your situation...I would go with the m22 simply because the combo is a proven setup where it was built to run a a complete unit, it has been tested and revised many times to make all the components work together. The setup comes with a pre-tunned basemeap that can be used a a starting point from the begenning, no guess work or shotty poor tunning by someone who has never worked with the combo. The customer service with RM is top notch and is easily acessible when needed. there are many of us including myself who have personally used/run/installed the Rm product line and will have no problems helping you out if you have any questions..
Now the Buddy3+ is also a good cam and makes good power, not as much as the Rm but they can hold their own very well.. Theres alot of people who run them too but there isnt as much of a tech support like the RM label carries through its dealers and Sponsored drivers .
