Thanks.
By the way, that basemap was good. It broke the motor in well and the Air/Fuel ratios were good and safe. Not to mention i got 33mpg on the highway with it.

About 500 miles, i use the "rip on it" break in method Honestly though, it doesn't burn a drip of oil, and those rings seem like they seated great, i must admit though. It didn't burn any oil even on first start up.

I got that Basemap from mtber who runs phearable.net.

Thanks Vince. Sleeves are doing great so far.

So here's what i am planning next for some more power. First off, i'm getting a nice Koyo radiator in place of the stocker and an additional fan for the radiator, i wanna get my normal operating temp. around 185 degrees. Next i wanna try a insulating intake manifold gasket. i think the way my car holds power, i think i am going to try out the Victor X manifold. Also, i wanna go to a cold air intake setup, with a velocity stack on it and a filter over it. I also think i will give the rocket modded spark plugs a shot. Oh yeah, i might wanna upgrade my fuel pump, since i am still running a stock DX pump. You guys got any other ideas? keep in mind my intake temps were around i believe 140ish and my coolant temps were around 205-210 when i dynoed. So i think i might be able to pull 220whp out of this motor eventually. Of course that will pretty much be my max goal with this long block setup, i don't think i am gonna touch the internals anymore.

I didn't get any tuning in STL. I had a basemap first, then i got tuned in chicago at the whip factory.

thanks for the inspiration. My little B16 is going to be torn down and rebuilt this winter. It will just be slightly bigger than before and a little meaner (more cc's and higher compresion) It will be like puberty for my car.
