Default B16A2 IM vs B18C5 IM

I'm just curious as to what peoples view on the different manifolds is. I'll be using a B16 head with ITR cams, JDM ITR 4-1, and USDM ITR pistons (10.8:1 compression) on an Ls bottom end. I will be making the jump the CTR overbores soon enough (12:1), and have been hearing the B16A2 manifold will make flatter power accross the board and I may infact be faster with that manifold. What are peoples thoughts on that?

My thought is that's a bunch of hooey. I've done back to back runs on B16 and GSR manifolds against the ITR. Depends on the set-up. Any DOHC VTEC engine with bolt-ons and up will benefit from teh ITR manifold everywhere. I've seen it. Don't buy into that "but i'll loose midrange power and tq". Same thing with the Skunk2.
