Default 2-step launch control w/ flames

I don't want to sound like a newb asking stupid questions, but I am wondering how someone can have a Naturally Aspirated car and their 2-step sounds like a turboed car with anti-lag and shoots flames. What tuning programs are they using to be able to have this feature the N/a cars that is?

sorry in advance for such a stupid question

Some racers do it to try and get the 2step to be more stable, meaning less bouncing around in rpms when on it. You are essentially lighting the flame with exhaust valves open.

This is nothing I would ever do on a street car. It beats the exhaust valves up a lot.

yup, keeps the rpms a lot more stable
we just set it up on my car a little differently and it seems to work a lot better so far
