Windows SQUEAK when rolling down...
Ok, well both my passenger and driver side front windows squeak when I roll them down. Acura should replace both the weather strippings for free, but my car is modified. Now, it's only been lowered and that's it. Isn't there a law that states they have to fix it, if the coilovers didn't cause the problem?
if you have coilovers, just raise it until it seems like its stock height.. no?
i work for American Honda, and im pretty sure if youre still under warranty, they'd replace it.. or find some kind of fix for it

Any modifications can void the warranty. IMO just raise the car so that it looks stock height, since you have coilovers. They have no purpose to look at the suspension if youre there for window squeaks.

A dealer is not allowed to deny your warranty claim if the modification you made to your product (in this case your product is a car) has no bearing on the issue for which you are getting warranty service performed on. So no, the dealer cannot charge you money or deny your request if your windows are having a problem and you modified your suspension. In order to deny your warranty claim, the manufacturer/dealer has to prove beyond a doubt that your modified part resulted in the problem.
Also, your warranty is never voided. A dealer can deny your warranty claim but the warranty on your vehicle is never completely gone and voided. For example, if you install an intake and you subsequently have a problem with your engine, then yes a dealer can and will deny your warranty claim when you bring your vehicle in to get the engine worked on. That doesn't mean the warranty on your entire car is void. You can still bring your car in for any other problem. You could even try a different dealer with your engine problem and try to convince them that the intake didn't cause the problem. And technically, a dealer only has the authority to deny a claim - not void the warranty. Your warranty is with American Honda, not some crapass dealership.
Hope this explains everything.
