i am trying to find out what the differance is between the k24a1 head and the k24a2 head other than the cams can anyony help me out?

"The cams" isn't the complete story. The A1 and the A2 use different rocker mechanisms, because they use completely different VTEC systems - conventional VTEC for the K24A2 which uses 3 rockers and 2 cam profiles on both the intake and exhaust sides, and VTEC-E for the K24A1 which uses 2 rockers and cam profiles on the intake side and a single rocker and cam profile for the exhaust side.
