Default difference in cams

Are there a difference between the intake and exhaust cam shafts?? I kinda got them mixed up and dunno which one goes to intake or exhaust. If so, Can somebody tell me or show me how to tell from each one??? thanks

if you look on the cam near the very end before you get to the cam gears, there will be an "I" on the intake one and an "E" on the exhaust one. Atleast mine did. If that doesnt work, I am thinking one end has a slot in it for the distributor and the other one doesnt. I cant remember, i do not have one right here in front of me. If that is true, the one with the slot will be the exhaust and the other, of course, would be the intake.
