Default Electrical problem - right hand indicator/flasher

Hey guys,

Greeting from Australia

Seeking so assistance if anyone can help. For a 2007 Euro Lux (TSX in USA).

Today the right indicators failed to work, the left work fine and as normal. When I press the hazard only the left work and no right. Flash speeds are normal.

When I lock the car with a keyfob all indicator lights (both left and right) flash and car locks normal. When I unlock the car all lights flash normal.

Fuses are all o.k and the bulb connections are all normal as well.

So I know its not the bulbs, could this be a flasher unit. I understand that its not a relay as the left of flashing normal.

On an accord forum I read about jumping a wire between pin connector 2 and 6. I tried this however still only get the same lights to light up.

The connector is a 6 pin marked with these marking. E , LL , LR , TL , TR , B .

Could it be the indicator stalk?

Does anyone know any other tests or fixes before I go to Auto Electrician.

Also I read about the door lock actuator failing and effecting the indicators however the doors are locking and unlocking with no issues.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sounds like the combination switch could be going bad.

Seeing as the hazard lights don't work then the under dash relay would be the cause of that. The power to the hazard light has to go through that relay first.

Thanks for your reply.

Today I was checking it again and I jumped 2 and 6 and 3 and 6. 2 and 6 lights up left turn lights, 3 and 6 lights up right turn lights.

So to me this seems like the problem may be the turn signal/hazard relay gone bad.

If there are any electrical genisues out there who know what the 6 pins for the turn signal/hazard relay are for it may help more.

Just so you done think that I am being a tightass..... the relays at Honda here in Australia are $90-..... with no alternative for an aftermarket one.... so I want to make sure that I got it right.

Cheers.
