Re: (formby)
Honestly since the heads have the manifolds built in. and all this is is a test pipe. there should not be that much research involved. You should be able to have a local shop copy the factory design with a little bit bigger piping and no cats.
I agree getting interest is good. but 50 people is alot see if they can be used on the 7th gen accords with the manifold cast into the head. try http://www.v6performance.net/.
Also I am not sure if you guys who are talking about the environment going to sh*t because of no cats. I properly tuned(hondata , emange, whatever) car with no cat will run cleaner then an everyday car with cats.

you're right...
my boss is going to buy the entire cat/Apipe assembly from the dealer and we're taking it to a fabricator in town to have a jig built.
then fab shop will tell me exactly how much and how much $$$ it will cost

You think that a tuner can make a car run cleaner without cats than Honda engineers can make it run WITH cats?? Maybe on some old CRX with a wornout cat, but not these cars. At any rate, if a single high flow cat is installed somewhere in the exhaust, it shouldn't be that bad.

this car handles better than most luxury cars...

Honestly, what makes you say that? There are a lot of sedans out there that handle pretty nicely. The 04-up TL is no slouch for a FWD platform.
What Acura dealership do you work at? Appletree? Just wondering.
