Default 2010 TL - A/C trouble

Hey everyone, gonna make this as short and filling as possible.
2 years ago I bought the car and the a/c was serviced by the dealership for not working, no clue what they did to it as I didn't own the car till after they repaired it.
Fast forward, 2 year later, summer time (Louisiana), and the a/c randomly cuts off while driving for several minutes and comes back on for a few minutes, then repeats. Quick look at the service ports and I see the low side valve has a small leak. So I replaced the valve (without discharging the system) and added some freon to the system as it was obviously low.
But the problem remained.
So a friend let me borrow his professional gauges, and everything seems fine.
90*f day, low pressure 30/32psi, high 210/220psi.
A/c works perfect at idle, ran it for 45mins,nothig but ice cold air. Go to drive the car home and the exact same issue happened. A/c cycled off (for several minutes) , pull over, wait a few mins, a/c comes back on like nothing is wrong. Idle the car another 45mins with no issues.
I'm by no means a a/c pro, I was trained and certified back in 04,but for the most part have not had to screw with a a/c system in that entire time,so I know I'm rusty. I feel like they system is overcharged, but alas, I rather ask people who know more than me to quickly solve this issue.
Thanks for all replies.
-Shawn
