Oh, i've never heard that one before...that could be a problem...
do you know this from experience or just rumors? Everyone i've asked so far told me it's a great choice, and i read a review on it once and they never mentioned this...so i'm just cuirious....don't want to spend $1200 on something that rattles all day long...lol

Re: (RSXtypeS)
If you are still interested in the kit, inlinefour.com has the kit for $750. But it looks like you might not get the kit. If you change your mind you should check it out.

Are you sure its 750$ for the Tein SS for the RSX? not for other cars? Cuz 750$ is dirt cheap considering msrp on those things are like 1350+$

tein SS..i dont like those...save up a little more and get HKS, JIC flt a2, or the higher Teins... if i remember correctly, the SS is non teflon coated and steel construction... rust prone
you cant beat aircraft aluminum construction and inverted monotube setup..see ya Tein SS..im saving up for FLT a2s myself

I know this from several of my friends who run Teins on their RSXs...I've ridden in all of thier cars and it's true. They have called Tein (U.S.A.) about it too and they offer no solution. All bolts are torqued to specs, nothing else loose. Aside from that annoying rattle, all of them love their Teins. I guess you just have to consider how long you could live with that noise.

cause someone told me that they don't have rattling and explained how to fix it...
also, after some people saying they don't come with Teflon coating...what other Tein suspension kit does come with teflon so i don't get rust?

Re: (arcticblursx)
The $750 kit on inlinefour is the tein basic coil-over, not the SS kit.

I didnt know Tein had the basic damper kit for the RSX...to my knowledge I think they only have the Tein SS, Flex (w/ teflon coating, upper pillow ball mounts..), and HA's (sold only in Japan)....If you have the extra 250-300$ opt for the Flex...
