Default p0340 after timing chain change

Chain was stretched by a tooth initially but threw no codes. I changed the chain tensioner, guides, water pump, engine mounts and lower control arms all in the same go since I was taking the motor out. Got everything back together and wouldn't start. Got a p0340 so I checked it out and it said camshaft position sensor bank one. Got a new sensor, no difference. If I unplug the sensor I can start the car. If I plug it won't start at all. I pilled out the wiring harness and carefully unwrapped the tape looking for problems all the way back to the ecu. No visible damage so I taped it back nice and neat then reinstalled on my car. Started up again, still same issues.

Default Re: p0340 after timing chain change

Have you verified the timing is still correct between the two cams and the crank?
