New conventional oil from Mobil
Hi guys, there is a new conventional oil from mobil, called super 1000. I guess its compareable to GTX, and showing some good resutls. I've been using castrol syntec in my base RSX, and been thinking about switching back to Mobil. Castrol felt better in my B18, but not as happy in the K series.
Are any of you running regular dino for dailty driving with maybe one light track day a year?
How is Mobil 1 in the K series? Theres a lot of info on H-T, but pretty conflicting. Oil info on the net can drive a sane man mad. I'm wondering about the 5-20 and the naturally thin nature of M-1. I dont want to be throwing what is essentially a 15 weight in the car. Maybe this new conventional would be better....at only $14 for 5 litres!

Re: New conventional oil from Mobil (b18LS)
I use Mobil 1 5W-30 in my EP3 and it is great. 5W-20 is what Honda recomends but everything I have read says use the 30 weight. I haven't heard of this new kind from Mobil yet. Everybody has an opinion on what to use and the only thing I can tell you that everyone agrees on is . . . . . regularly changing your oil and filter is the best thing that you can do for your engine.
