If you are looking for more power then go with the race header but since your in kali like me then I would becareful and probably go with the short and test pipe if cops are !@#$% in your area...Other than that you can also check with ephatch.com among the searches

im not to sure...

still ok if u look at the DcRh its a 4-2-1 header... and im thinking that wouldn't with the dc shorty headers with the straight pipe right from the header would make better flow??? i would think since its like its more like a 4-1 setup wiith nothing but pipe right from the shorty header...

i know alot of people might say go for the DcRh because its a Brand name part and somtimes people get in there heads (including my self at some times) that the more money u spend the faster ull go....

anyone got anymore input on this??

I have a DC Sports 4-1 Shorty w/ Megan Racing Test Pipe & Greddy SP2 Catback.

I was using the stock cat for while. Putting the test pipe on was one of the biggest improvements i've felt. The power band at higher RPM's was alot harder.. ALOT.

I say go for the shorty and the test pipe. Just my opinion, but I never owned a race header either so.

I was asking the same questions to. I just said F it and I ordered it and I don't regret it at all.

yeah its illegal... but i mean who will know.. now if ur car is to damn load then thats one thing.. but its not like ur gonna be driven, get pulled over by a cop and hes gonna say hey u have a test pipe on this car.... they don't know ****... only wat they can see..

so yeah illegal.. but if u put the cat back on to smog when its time and its passes... whos to say anything to u....

the race header is a lot better. the length and diameter of the primaries are optimized for more hp. the shorty header has proven to add only a small increase in power, if any. the addition of a test pipe will add more power, but the combination will not yield as much whp as the dcrh.

The shorty with test pipe is a good setup. It has just as much in gains as the RH without the need to add torque dampers or even ESMMIs (even though they are a great improvement.)

this 4-1 setup will not flow as much as a 4-2-1 setup. if you look at all RH, even the high end ones, they all use 4-2-1 setup. why? think about it this way...air is immediately being forced from 4 pipes down to 1 while on the 4-2-1 setup the air is gradually coming down to 1. less obstruction, more flow
