S2000 cluster into NSX

Re: S2000 cluster into NSX
I used to have an S2000 myself, I used to think that the S2K cluster was AWESOME ... and IT IS, yet, last time i sat in one, it looked so small and weird ... + I wish had the Oil Pressure + Electric gauges .... yes, the NSX is more classic, and "kinda" looks like any Honda, until you actually look, how SOLID and how Amazing the quality is ... then you are in love vs the weird digital S2k one ...
But to be honest i think they are both beautiful in their own rights ....
I think the SsK cluster looks PERFECT on the S2k and vice versa ....
Cheers!

ick to the s2000 display. I've never cared for the digital displays. Even new motorcycles come with these. I would rather watch a needle climb then a display that looks like my alarm clock.

For 80k id expect a better looking more updated cluster... The stock NSX cluster looks like it would be right at home in a 92 Honda Accord...
S2k Cluster FTW

I think its a step backwards since you are loosing the oil pressure gauge and volt meter of the stock NSX cluster. Might be pretty, but function would be my priority. Just my .02

The cluster looks ok but the bezel work looks crappy and is what's throwing it off. Throwing such a small cluster in that huge void just doesn't look right.

However, I wouldn't mind a head-up display.

props to the guy who built it, it is a really nice job. but i have to say that i like the OEM cluster better, suits the car IMHO. it's not my style is all, i prefer the stock look.
when i need more accurate info for trackdays etc. i will install some high quality gauges and sensors. they'll be more accurate not because they're digital but because the sensors are better quality and more sensitive to whatever they're supposed to monitor.
to each their own.

I don't hate on the s2k cluster mod! At least it's original! As far as functionality though, nothing beats a stack cluster! Most NSX people don't realize how major it is to install a stack! On the NSX, you have to hand wire the unit, & manufacture custom brackets for the gauge pack's display, & hall effects sensors as nothing on the Stack is plug & play! If you mess up the installation, it's serious damage to your vehicle!!! I have an st8110sr in my NSX, & I've never seen a more legible display at high speed in any car! That's why they use it as oem in the million dollar Koenigseg! Stack is AWSOME

Re: S2000 cluster into NSX
hi there...
Just a thought... the only thing really stopping me from jumping on this project is the lack of a oil pressure and voltage gauges. I noticed in the outer facia/housing there will be some leftover space (where the CF overlay will be). Can't we fit some sort of digital display for the oil press and the voltage? something like the below. It's not a great example but if you build in the lcd display and cut it into the CF it might not be such a bad idea.
