S2000 cluster into NSX
I've seen it done on other cars before but a first for NSX.

In a means to update the Acura NSX, I swapped a S2000 gauge cluster in a Acura NSX. It took 3 months of R&D to finally get everything to work, but I pulled it off. Here are some pics:
Old Gauge Cluster:
New Gauge Cluster:
The new gauge cluster trim will soon have carbon fiber, instead of the aluminum.

I like it. I have used that cluster in other cars and it is really nice. Kind of like the STACK, but OEM Honda and more useful, IMHO. Great for track cars.

Yes - that is exactly, word for word what I said. You have impressed us all with your insight.
Don't let the reality that the big arc that dominates the S2000 cluster (showing the rpms) is an analog format, even if the technology driving it is digital. Of the primary gauges, only the MPH display, which I don't use as much on the track, is digital. The temp and fuel gauges are also analog. Are you going to whine now because the odometer on the original cluster was digital?

Re: S2000 cluster into NSX
I like both clusters, and I can approve of the S2000 cluster just because it looks so cool...but it's the S2000 cluster that reminds me of the 80's, not the NSX's. I think the term I would use is "retro futuristic."

LOL I like the digi gauges as well but it does resemble the old digital cluster from the 83 camaros.
Edit: my mistake it was the 1984 thru 1986...
