Default S2000 cluster into NSX

I've seen it done on other cars before but a first for NSX.
:/

The person that did this swap can be found on nasioc and rs25

The new gauge cluster trim will soon have carbon fiber, instead of the aluminum.

Looks alright, but I would much rather keep it the way it was.

Okay.

Glad the guy painted the metal trim. Leaving it bare would be distracting, I think.

I like it. I have used that cluster in other cars and it is really nice. Kind of like the STACK, but OEM Honda and more useful, IMHO. Great for track cars.

Unless it has features of a STACK unit, I see no benefit of it other than the digital readout instead of the needle guages. I don't see lap times, lap speeds, etc. on the S2000 unit.

Props for the nice work though.

The dated (very 80s) cluster was about the only thing I wasn't really fond of on the NSX interior.

Yes - that is exactly, word for word what I said. You have impressed us all with your insight.

Don't let the reality that the big arc that dominates the S2000 cluster (showing the rpms) is an analog format, even if the technology driving it is digital. Of the primary gauges, only the MPH display, which I don't use as much on the track, is digital. The temp and fuel gauges are also analog. Are you going to whine now because the odometer on the original cluster was digital?

now seeing that the nsx is honda's super car it should have had the digital cluster(S2000 cluster) and the S2000 should have had the needle cluster like the nsx...i love the look of this swap its the sh*t hands down haters keep on keepin on but i dont have my vote on this one

I like both clusters, and I can approve of the S2000 cluster just because it looks so cool...but it's the S2000 cluster that reminds me of the 80's, not the NSX's. I think the term I would use is "retro futuristic."

LOL I like the digi gauges as well but it does resemble the old digital cluster from the 83 camaros.

Edit: my mistake it was the 1984 thru 1986...

I have never seen a modification like that before. Does it work perfect as far as reading your speed and temps?
