Wheel Offsets for a ITR all sizes
Searched for hours on wheel size and offsets. Im looking for a expert on this topic to clear this mater up. I would love to put a 16X8 under my ITR with no rubbing but a 16X7 seems more reasonable for my garage Queen. But also want to know my options of wheels in any size. Im curantly looking at Weds SA-90 not even sure if they will work.

canttx runs 16x8 TE-37's... I can't remember what offset. I think he said he rubs only at full lock going steep downhill or something to that effect. He also is not slammed or anything either... shrug.
Personally, I think tires at 8" test the already limited selection of 16" tires that fit in our small wheel wells

Yep. You have the best selections in 17" now, then 15", and 16" a distant third.
I like my Spoon 16x7 wheels but I'm having a hard time finding the tyres I want right now.

if you're going for a 16x7 wheel, anywhere around the low +40's will work very well. i have the te-37 in +42 offset on adjustable suspension and i have no problems. i'm sure others will have their input on 17" and 15" wheels.
just like GK, i'm having a hard time finding a good tire for my 16x7's.
kepani - who's wondering, what happened to that EVO MAGAZINE FWD Comparo thread...

Decide on what kind and size of tires you plan to use before you decide on your wheel width.
Unless you're planning to use these for track tires, you're going to want to get 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 tires. The 205/45 is slightly smaller in diameter than stock, and the 215/45 is slightly larger. Either size works fine on an ITR.
If you get the supersticky Falken Azenis RT-615, they come in 215/45-16 (but not 205/45-16). They are approved for use on rims 7.0-8.0 inches wide. If you are planning to use the Azenis, I recommend 16x7.5.
Most other street tires, including the all-around excellent Goodyear F1 GS-D3 and the great "bang for the buck" Kumho Ecsta SPT, come in 205/45-16 (but not 215/45-16). Most tires this size are approved for use on rims 6.5-7.5 inches wide. If you are planning to use tires that only come in 205/45, I recommend 16x7.
I would not get 16x8, since that will severely limit your choices of tire (even if you get the Azenis now, you might want some other tire later).

Thanks for your input. Still not sure what wheels to get there is not a lot of choices. Money is not a real issue but I'm not really wanting to spend more then $1400-$1200. Would love Advan RG2 or some Spoon. I'm leaning more to the Wedsport SA-90 16X7 +33 or 16X8 +33.

Don't get 16x8.

Did you follow the link I provided? If you didn't, then I would highly recommend doing so. It really doesn't seem as if you followed the link, based on the offsets that you're mentioning.
What are you trying to do with the car? Why do you want 8" wide wheels to begin with?

The more research i do I think it's just not logical to put 16X8 on a R for many resons wheel and tire selection and finding the right offset.
