What items are needed to be changed at 50,000?
I'm almost there 44,000 and would like to do the tune up this Saturday before heading up to LRP.
Toss some ideas on what items I should change.
I have good brake pads, fluid & SS lines.
tires will be rotated-
Oil change-
Tranny is next to new therefor fluid is new-
spark plugs need to be changed-
should I change the spark plug wires too? I never touched them before...
I did the cap and rotor not that long ago-
Gas filter needs to be changed- last done
Anything else, like muffler bearings, flux compasitors or the dreaded healight fluid?

spark plugs (if you have never done them before)
fuel filter
cap (how many miles ago?)
rotor (how many miles ago?)
I would flush the tranny when you get back... just incase
check the timing
check belt tensions

cap- less then 10k
rotor- less then 5k
I had thought to flush the tranny- but was not sure, now I WILL.
Belts- look ok but will see how they are
And as for the valve adjustment, I did it at 30k. Thinking I should give them a peek but I don't hear em... Just wondering how many times can I keep reusing the valve cover gasket- going on the 3 time

I need to get my stuff done as well. How much is a good price to adjust valves? I wish I could take it somewhere that I trusted.

I take it you re-use condoms as well?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Honda makes quality rubbers man. I've reused my valve cover gasket well over 5 times and no leaks or cracks at all. If Honda made condoms, i'd buy one and be set as well hah
