Vtec engaging problem!!!

Vtec engaging problem!!!
Today I was watching my tach and waiting for VTEC to kick in, and it kicked in at 6200rpm...This was the first time this ever happened, yesterday it was fine...I checked oil..its fine, checked spark plugs, plug wires..they look fine...I am in the process of resetting the ecu..I hope it works...any ideas...
Btw I have skunk2 stage 1 cams, and vtec was engaing at 5800rpm til today...HELP

I always thought it was 5700...
Maybe it's just your tach being off like most every other ITR tach. I fuel cut @ 8800 and rev to indicated 9200 daily (VAFC verifies the 8800 ness though)
