My bad,

Hey everyone ***** up once in awhile...

Have a Bunch of on me, and let me edit away!!!

Oh, and I still stand behind tires, I just fell off my high horse and bounced on them on my way down.

No harm taken and I agree with the tires. I may end up with other race tires than Yok's which is the race tires we use. I'm going to try and score some Michelin Race slicks if they have the size. Thanks again guys.

The moderators apparently decided to use a picture of a jackass as a default option available for everyone who selects an avatar. I guess they thought they were being funny. I'm surprised anyone fell for it.

I know that Mattj (Dropspeed) is pushing almost 190whp with just bolt ons and lots of tuning. That's almost a 30-hp jump (Mattj: correct me if I'm wrong). So I would say there's quite a lot you can do before getting into the internals.
Correct. The car just put down 185 whp and 135 pd ft on a Mustang Dyno. A qwik run down, Mugen Header 2.5", 2.5"Carsound Cat, Modified Mugen exhaust, Ice box, Lightened Crank Pulley, No p/s or a/c, Hondata Gasket, Still has Stock ECU, Stock Bottom end, Stock Head. There will be an update on the http://www.teamtoilet.com soon. The car picked up 30+ whp at peak and around 45 in the midrange.

No.

If you did, you should be able to see it yourself, too, I would think.

I dynoed 171.8 and .9 WHP with 126 PF/TQ with just the Icebox, Spoon 4-2-1 and carsound cat on a Dynojet.

I am envious of 190 WHP.

Soon it will include camgears, FPR, and 2.5" catback and a few more hours on the dyno to tune. I am ready to try and meet your 190...

Note: The jackass doesn't appear if you've never selected an avatar. If you go to select an avatar, it gives you the choice between the jackass, or downloading another avatar.

Its only 185 on a Mustang Dyno, But its a very strong 185, 13.53 1/4 .I have heard it should be closer to 190-195 on a dynojet but haven't bothered to compare yet.

Great, As all of these guys already know, I usually DON'T make mistakes like that, and I certainly Don't pass on bad information.

My next tires will be A32R's, "they will better suit my combination of track day's AND Auto-X's . " The Hoosiers I am on now will last a few more events but, I will need new rubber before I hit a road course this season. The A32's seem to fit my budget better and perform double duty.

One Great mod that a few of us have done is an ATS 4.929 Final Drive. Very Nice results...

Good luck,

A.

Tell me more about the modified Mugen catback?

I am almost sold on a Kakimoto-R catback 2.5" all the way through... and not Too loud!

I don't recommend the "modified Mugen" route. I purchased a USDM Mugen Header and exhaust about 2 years ago when my car was on order.................Over this past winter I decided to have the collector modified into a 2.5" and went with a 2.5" Carsound Cat, Then I had 2.5" pipe run back to the point the Mugen exhaust has a little 3" section just before it makes the turn to go over the rear lower control arm. Because I got rid of the resonator just behind the cat the exhaust is louder than before but still not as loud as a N-1,Greddy, Thermal..... and very mellow when cruising below 5000 RPM. It was hard to cut-up $2000 in exhaust, but worth it. Car pulls very nicely up to redline.

The thing is I probably have around 1,000 days (yes, 1 followed by 4 zeros)
I didn't realize 1,000 had 4 zeros in it. When did they change that? Last time I checked it was still only 3.

Funny but 1000 doesn't have 4 zeros.
