Questions with the trunk
Hi guys,
I am a newbie on this web, and I would like to ask fellow integra-lover owners this following question.
have you guys had problem opening your trunk?
I don't know whether it's the alarm wires wearing out or just the trunk motor. I have problems opening my trunk. Sometimes I open up, and close, and i can't open up anymore. Unless I use key to turn and open at the same time, but it doesn't work 60% of the time.
Does any of you have same situation.
I love this car, it hardly gives me any troubles besides the trunk.
Hopefully can gain some knowledge from you
Thanks

Re: Questions with the trunk (Outperform)
Mine never opens with the latch anymore, I have to stick the key in and wiggle the latch like crazy until I get lucky and it opens.
Anyone have an idea of how much it would be to fix? At least theives can't steal my sub easily if they get into the car...

Re: Questions with the trunk (redGSRguy)
hey what kind of alarm system do u have?
maybe it's the alarm wiring wearout that automates the hatch release.
but I will take my car in by factory in a couple of weeks.
So if i find out later about the price and the problem I will let you know too.
Hopefully it doesn't cost big money to fix

Re: Questions with the trunk (itRgirl)
The only problem that I have had with mine was the inability to close it. It is as if the latch gets stuck in it's opening position and won't lock to keep the hatch closed again until I move it manually.
