Default Tranny problem.....HELP

I have a jdm itr and i have a centreforce clutch installed for about a year now and i use it for drag racing. The problem is when i try to put it in first gear ,it's very hard to shift it. I need to know if the problem is the tranny( synchros) ,the oil or the pressure plate?

I really don't know enough about transmissions, but I'd say it's not synchros, as they just make the gear engagement smoother (I think, to simplify in a huge way there). Does it grind when you put it into first? If it does, then I could be wrong and it could be the synchros. What do you mean about oil? Transmission fluid? And I don't think the pressure plate would make it hard to engage the gear, unless when the clutch pedal is fully depressed, the clutch itself is not fully disengaged.

I'd guess a bent shift fork.

is the car moving when ur trying to get it into first?
if yes you must double clutch to go from second to first, or be patient and gently keep pressure on the stick

if no
change your fluid and see how that treats you

I'd also agree with JeffS and Audipwr. The fluid is an easy fix, just to check and/or change. If it comes down to it, opening the tranny to check the shift forks probably won't be easy or cheap, unless you can do that kind of thing yourself.
