What if it is not there?

Also, what is the tranny code for a 98? Something LSD right?

Im in the market of getting an ITR, the one i saw is a 98 and the tranny VIN is missing.

That is the code for a 98 Spec JDM ITR Tranny.

i bought an ITR tranny NEW from honda and it came without a VIN. so there are other reasons for missing vins besides being stolen........
