Throwing a Code 22/P1259 ???
I'm throwing a "VTEC System Malfunction/Pressure Sensor" code @ about 120+ mph. It's only happens in 4th gear full throttle about half way threw the gear, or in 5th around 1/2 throttle @ 120+.
I put a new Pressure Sensor on it today and it seemed to hold longer then it did yesterday before it fell on its face w/ a CEL code 22. You think it could be the screen in the VTEC Sending/pressure unit itself or just the wieght of my oil? I changed it about 3 weeks ago and ran Mobile 1 5w30.
I'm boosting 5 psi, and this didn't happen when I was N/A, which is kinda why i'm leaning toward my oil, or a clogged screen. Maybe the viscosity is breaking down because of the added heat? Maybe the screens clogged? Don't know. Any suggestions?

I just changed it before I took it to the dyno. It's full, and about 5 days old to be exact. But I've changed my pressure switch, screen (it was totally fine), and my oil ran Amsoil 5w40 instead of Mobil 1 5w30.
I'm thinking it's something electrical. I think my VAFCII & E-Manage are fighting each other for control of VTEC in 4th & 5th gear? Not completely sure, but that's what I have narrowed it down to. Everything else has been changed, so it has to be electrical, not machanical. Any thoughts on a VAFCII messing with a E-Manage?
