What is to gain from a Spoon Flywheel? Don't you loose torque?

Yeah, I know about the weight. But don't you loose Torque? I don't know about you guys, but I don't have enough torque as is.

Whether you lose torque has been debated. You do lose power off the line because the flywheel doesn't have as much momentum to transfer to the wheels when you are engaging the clutch. After the clutch is engaged, torque should be the same.
