Nope, I just throw up peace and give a nod to fellow auto enthusiasts. If you belong to other forums you would understand the different kind of comerodity I speak of.

Re: Spoon Diffuser on my DC2
I like how it looks, prefer to see it on a CW97 rear bumper though. Someone had already stated that the benefit of this piece is very minimal and also, I think it just adds weight.

Re: Spoon Diffuser on my DC2
I know its not a DC2 but when I saw the pic I started thinking
1.) The car is not that low
2.) It probably does not have a nice flat bottom piece like the Enzo
3.) It is shooting the air and water away from the car the way it should work
Based on the photograph to me the diffuser is doing its job.
Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't the S2000 Spoon Diffuser do the same work and samething in the photograph. I think that it would. Even if the S2k diffuser is on a EK or DC im sure it would do what it was ment to do and that is to keep the air and wind from coming up on the cars bumper.
The point of the diffuser is to keep the flow of air flowing away from the car, right.
Discuss
And Keep the stupid talk out!!! from here on out.

Re: Spoon Diffuser on my DC2
Im sorry but that looks horrible...No matter the intentions of the car, or your purpose. It looks ackward and out of place.
Props to you for trying something different, but it doesnt look right bro.

Re: Spoon Diffuser on my DC2
LOL, I think as long as everyone hates it, I'm on the right track. Considering what the entire nation thinks about the civic and integra community, the more I can steer away from that the better I think.

This would be more functional than the Spoon piece. If only it were available for other cars. hrmm..
As for the DC2 attachment, it looks alright from the side, but i have to agree the rear view looks rather awkward.

You just managed to contradict yourself. It seems your going for the form v function notion. It is ugly, and it is not functional, thus, it doesn't belong on the car. Unless of course it is to show off wealth in hopes of attracting 16 year old boys driving Civics...

Re: Spoon Diffuser on my DC2
Especially when this piece is NOT even made for our cars...the fact that something was just slapped on to the DC chassis, that not only looks bad, but carries more weight, is a very unjustifiable mod in my books.

Yea what IS the point tho? cuz it seems like you dont know either...your statement of "whether it is functional or not" implies that you, yourself, knows not the function of it.

I mean look at this guy's diffuser entitled UNIVERSAL DIFFUSER https://honda-tech.com/forums/road-racing-autocross-time-attack-19/dry-carbon-fiber-rear-diffuser-2285480/. Different style, probably works in someway or another.

And agreed, adding 8lbs for function to, even if it only cuts consistent times down 1/2 a second as a functional piece, whether it was made for the car or not, it functions as designed and fits.
I don't own a Type R, or an S2000, but sure as hell if one was made for my civic, I'd rock one, especially now that I don't drive my car everyday.
