Default Silicon Radiator Hoses?

Has anyone tried silicon radiatior hose like the Spoon ones? Spoon says that they reduce the temps in the engine bay. I would like to get some if they cool the engine bay down a bit. Mine gets so hot. Anyone who has they or anything like them please tell me how they work. Thanks

For the price of those hoses, you could buy 8 or 9 pairs of new stock hoses.

Well when you're blinded by the bling bling of Spoon, you're beyond help.

I'm sure they help, but not worth the money you pay for.

So are the C&R even worth it if they are only about $110. If not, i will be staying stock.

Why change them if there's nothing wrong with stock?

bling bling factor haha but seriously... yea the stock rubber does tend to dry out and crack.... after.... 100k

i guess if you were doing an endurance race the high dollar stuff is less likely to burst.

Then you buy new stock hoses and you're good for another 100k.

But it goes with the spoon theme engine bay! Maybe I should just paint my stock hoses blue and use a white marker to write SPOON on it. Just as good right?

Only reason i was thinking of getting them was to cool down the engine bay temps. Seeing as spoon says thats what they do. If they dont, im not gonna get them. If i do i will prolly get the C&R ones. I felt them on miguels car before, and teh were semi cool, but i dont remember how long the car was sitting for.
