I too thought the smurf blue promo photos reflected the car poorly, but having seen one in person, I think they look badass.
Stiffer chassis, quicker steering rack, 90lbs lighter than AP2, different damping/spring rates, bigger sway bars, different wheels/tires (RE070).

I agree. That blue was a poor intro. I like it in blk,wte, and of course yellow.

Thanks! It's part of my collection.
One main reason I never trade in the R for S2K is hoping Honda can squeeze more out of it into Type-R specs and CR or Type-S just does not do it for me.
Oh well, spirit is over in US anyway.

Yep, unfortunately, the 90lbs spec is: without some sound deadening, without a soft top, without the hardtop, without a spare tire, without the radio and without the AC system. A 2000 S2000 is lighter than a "base" CR with everything except the hardtop, then you can simply bolt on the CR parts...
