revving limitations
i have a c5 w/o a rev limiter and it scares me that i can go well over my limit in the motor and i dont want that to happen ...i kno the red line of a c5 is 8900rpms But ive herd c5's can rev way past that on stock internals no probplem ... i just want to make sure i dont rev it past its limits and mess up my engine...
so what is the highest i can rev my engine on stock internals
so what is the highest i can rev my engine on stock internals

What ECU do you have that gives you "no rev limit"? I don't believe it.
There is a rev limit there, somewhere.
Redline is 8400. Fuel cuts off at 8600 but the tach will show 8800+. The tach lies.

RPM - Ruins Perfect Motors
I've heard that revving to 9,000RPM on stock B18C5s is safe, but is flirting with pointless, as you're not making much power that deep.
I say just keep it stock rev limiter until you get a nice head package.

It's a valid name for that piece of the body.

I think "Fender" is only an American term.
Guess my dad called them Quarter Panels, and therefore, so do I..
