Re: Press fit foged rods?? (doood)
Where I want to race my car I have to keep an OEM piston
Is that the onlyway...I was hoping for an i-beam rod that could do press fit!

Re: Press fit foged rods?? (doood)
I did that in my last Ls vtec because at 8mm the OEM bolts where week and I was spining it to 8500rpm (balanced crank assembly aswell) So I have full confidence that I wouldn't spin a bearing at 9200rpm in the b18c ITR with them...I realy wanted lighter!

Yes it's a track car only. I have a ported type r head with welded quech pads reshaped and balanced CCs with a 5 angle valve job. 64mm TB and ported Type R manifold then out a N1 Spoon header...I'm using Skunk2 PRO1 cams!

Re: Press fit foged rods?? (psegs80)
9500 is a bit high, I beleive that at 9100rpm you reach 2195 fps... spoon B18c's peak arround 8200rpm (don't get me wrong I love spoon, I have a 1.5 dif and a header from them)
I'm expecting to peak arround 8600-8800rpm with the SK2 pro1 cams.

Anyone have any more feedback on this??
I also had a race that need to run OEM piston, and i wanted to run the car safely to 9200rpm as well have a lighter rods to reduce rotating assemdly.
