there is so much aftermarket support out there for the TSX it's close to or going to pass the amount for the R.

I would say don't do it.

After seeing your purchase history over the last couple of years, I don't think an ITR will be right for you. You bought a 600RR and then sold it...I am assuming because you recovered your senses and realized you weren't ready to be riding a $9K deathtrap.

Then you bought a big, fancy M3. It looks like you buy the fastest and most exclusive rides that you are able to afford at the time. Hence, an ITR is going to feel like a downgrade to you, unless you have a bunch of other cars. It's certainly going to be less of everything than your M3, so I think you'd be tempted to sink a ton of money into it to make it fast. Insurance isn't cheap, and didn't you have an ITR stolen from your house a couple of years ago?

if I were in your shoes, I'd get an Si bus and slap a DC5R head on it, and call it a day. Or an SRT-4 or Mustang GT or WRX (all used of course), something that will be fast and fun enough and not expensive. Save some money, make your house payments, and when you're ready, you can have a $60,000 DC2R like Ken as a weekend fun car, locked away in your shiny new garage with a few dogs guarding it.

 

Don't they are theft magnets, even though I would have initially bought that 97 that you had, if you would have drove it up here.
