You really have to drive a S2K at the limit to truly appreciate it. It is definitely more of an "adult" car than the ITR. It is not a replacement or better nor worse than the ITR, just completely different. Comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges.

Looks like a blast to drive once vtec kicks in.

Just to clarify, I wasn't saying the new motor sucked, just that the 9k redline was more unique.

04s are much better , smoother power curve . better wheels,rear bumper and exhaust. nicer interior etc. youll love it,my Girl friends dad bought the first 04 in Wa state in the same color. nice replacement. also less theft. i bet you cant wait to rape it. the V-tec crossover is alot different then a R. not as much kick but the s2000 has much more torgue down low. crossover is kinda like a RSX-S. hope you enjoy it. where the pictures at?????

that sure is alot of money to throw away if you end up getting an RX8. the car does look pretty nice IMO, but was almost recalled for having decieving HP figures. they're dog slow man

yeah that would really suck for the street huh? I mean my car sees vtec like once a day maybe, so that low power in the rx8 would just be horrible.

Maybe it would be for you. But the RX8 OWNS the S2K for practical concerns (seating, storage, etc). If I track a car, I'll use a track car, not my street car.
