Is it SAE corrected number or actual non-corrected number?

Looks like a nice graph, I've been waiting to see your flat torque curve...I'll need to find where my old DynoDynamics plots are to compare.

You're running just a tad rich throughout the band, get it a little leaner, 13.5-13.8 and you'll have a few more whp(at least I did).

Redline...looks like you still pulling fairly hard, you should have a pull done to 9,000rpm to see that everything is well as high 8k should be your shift point.

I want it a bit rich - so the engine runs a bit cooler at the track. Running on the rich side will also help me out when I have to go down to the States and use their shitty gas (car was tuned on Canuck Chevron 94 octane).

I don't care to rev the crap out of the motor - it's easier on the valvetrain and will likely help keep oil consumption down too. I also told the shop not to kill my motor by revving the crap out of it when they tuned it.

I don't think Toda B's make much more power above 8500 anyways - for that you will need C's +/- headwork.

Congrats! I wish I had a motor with enough parts to be worth tuning

Maybe I missed it, but what kind of c/r are you running with rollerwaves?

wow. 100 hp at about 4000 rps!! whata torque curve. I'm depressed my cars gona feel slow after just one ride.

Nobody makes me spend money like BPR.

Why did they shut the run down at 8500???? You should be able to rev way past that. There's more power to be found....

.....that was my initial reaction as well.

But I'm sure the tuner had his reasons for such. I don't have experience with those pistons and c/r - so maybe that was a guard against detonation? Or perhaps they require more fuel b/c they make so much more power and only ad 2 compression points.....? I'd love to see it closer to 14:1 just for ***** and giggles.....

shawn vaneer owns kinetic motorsports possibly with a partner. he used to be with another guy named shawn and they had momentum motorsports. they built incredible VW/AUDI cars. My background is the same as his i build VW's on a custom level as well. so i delt with shawn when they were momentum. Good pair of guys very helpful and very knowledgable. They made a stainless steel exhaust once for a golf out of 32 pieces of 2in stainless steel pipe. it looked unreal. glad they could help you.

PS: honda guys hate VW's. Hot rod guys hate everyone. But a VW person will chill with anyone. thats why they can use there dyno.

I'm not too sure on that one
I've experienced my share of hate from quite a few vw owners

Nice numbers btw Jonathan
I plan to have my car tuned again once a couple more parts arrive hopefully around winter time

.....not in my experience. VW owners have been about as tolerant as the nissan guys imho..... I'd almost rather chill with domestic heads - so many vw owners have acted like their **** don't stink it's unreal. AND I know plenty of cool ones. It's important not to stereotype, but just take a stroll over to vwvortex and see the stunnafied welcome you get.....
